When the moon is whole and bright in the sky, perhaps in late September, early October, the harvest moon is a huge orange ball low on the horizon, a time of apple harvesting.
Have you ever taken a bite out of the moon? Held the cheese moon between your thumb and forefinger, gently carried it to your mouth and chomped a chunk out? Is the moon dry and sandy or juicy and delicious like a Honey Crisp apple?
Would the moon be filling in your tummy? Would it be heavy or light? Would it shift the tides of your moods, the ebb and flow of your internal energy?
A bit of moon in our bodies might be just the thing we need.
